I’ve been facing this problem from different people and companies quite a lot the past 2 months and it got me upset enough to write about it. Note. Please do not get offended as I’m speaking in general from my recent experiences.
I define, “being unprofessional”.
1) NO RESPONSE
I’m not really talking about ‘SLOW RESPONSE’ here. I can totally understand that there might be some inconvenience and I strongly believe I am patient enough to wait as long as it’s not longer than a reasonable period. Everyone has their own things to do in life.
BUT, NO RESPONSE?
This is far worst than slow response of course! Like not replying mails in the middle of a discussion. Don’t you think it’s rude? It’s unacceptable especially from a big company or whatsoever. I hate to say this but if I ever hire and still keeping such an irresponsible and lazy person like that in a company, I’d rather give up that business. HR department, you may need to find a replacement.
It’s very important to keep your timing right and do not waste other people’s time if you do not want others to waste yours.
2) DISRESPECT
A customer is the very first priority. Let me only concentrate on those related with customer services. I’m not asking them to be very nice or very polite. Just do not be RUDE! Customers do not owe you anything even if we decided not to go for your service in the end of the day. We might go back another day but never ever again if you did that just ONCE. (well.. unless I really have no other choices but to buy from you) First impression is very important. Same goes to business.
3) PROMISES ONE THING BUT DOES ANOTHER
This office lady from one particular company said to me on phone call “we are trying our best to help you” but all she does is nothing but sit behind a desk. So I had to get everything done myself when her company supposed to be doing all this. Best of all, I paid $600 plus just for her to get some paper done. PAPER WORK ONLY! But in the end, i still had to solve the problem myself. Ridiculous.
Remember. Trust, hard to gain and easy to lose. Do not promise or say things that can’t be provided unless there is any good reason behind it. And if you want to lie, make sure it’s perfect and never ever underestimate human intelligence judging by the cover. Otherwise, please carefully choose your words and speak smartly.
#LAZY ???This explains the main cause of all these problems.
Last but not least. Don’t do something that you don’t want other people to do to you.

RESPECT YOUR JOB.
RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
BE PROFESSIONAL OR AT LEAST TRY TO.
